CD review in Keeper Magazine
Hostile Groove's debut full-length album "Unleash The Massattack" speaks to me in a way I never thought possible.
If you think mixing Metal with rhyme-style lyrics can't be done, guess again. No one ever made Beastie Boys meets Pantera
sound so brutally golden and unique of it's own. Hostile Groove lashes out full force with cutting riffs that make your teeth
clench from excitement. With intricate notes flying at rapid speed precise timing and definition do not come to mind, but
Hostile Groove pull it off like second nature. Their music is riddled with adrenaline and laced with grooves your body cannot
deny. Songs like "On a Mission" bring back old school thrash, while "The Ladder" incorporates a crunchy, heavy and heartfelt
vibe. The message: Get off your ass, defeat and defy what keeps you down. The name speaks for itself and it's delivery is
not for the faint. Do not be fooled . Check them out and judge for yourself. You may only discover a rare breed...true talent
"On a Mission".
