Are Those Really The Lyrics?

For the record.

Yes they are!

Here are a couple facts for those of you that are DMC3 dedicated and need to know every detail about everything, including the lyrics.

When I first put up this site it was for the sole purpose of giving the fans what they want, the correct lyrics. I really didn't have much time at all when I built the site so if you see any errors or typos please let me know. Anyway, when I originally posted the DMC3 lyrics all I did was cut and paste text out of a word document and posted them online. What I had forgot is that the day I actually went in and recorded the vocals we changed very few lyrics. For example in the song Suffer the line I wrote was “the instinct that you dwell”, when I was in the studio there were too many syllables in that sentence so we changed it to “instinctual”. So if you’re confused about what was posted on this site in March compared to what’s on here today you will see very few small changes similar to that.

One other note for you die hards. In the song Taste The Blood in the last paragraph I have a lyric that says “Knees in the (blood)”. This is interesting even to me. The reason I have the word blood in parenthesis is because that was the original lyric I wrote. When I listen closely it almost sounds like I said the word mirror instead of blood. When the Capcom team edited this song they could have pasted another word in there or something, I honestly do not know. If they did I’m sure it was for a good reason. So I can say for the record, that is the only lyric on my site in question and it may be a mystery forever. When I find out, this site will be updated. Thanks!

If you see parentheses around any other word in the lyrics that means that word had to be removed to sing syllables correctly or it meant that it was a background vocal of some sort.

I hope this helps.
